I am looking to buy a 1980 F150 XLT 4X4. It has a 351 with an automatic and an 8 ft bed. I would have to trailer it home with a 1988 F-250 Diesel and a 16 ft trailer. I need to know if this truck will fit on the trailer and if the Diesel has enough stuff to get it back here. Thanks...Andy

Yes, it will pull that F150 just fine.

 

Nope, ended up being too good to be true. Needed a new engine and trans and it was pretty rotten...

I pulled my car on a dolly with my 95 F150 300-6... 70 mph in overdrive!
