I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT. Lifted 6 inches w/ BFG 315/70/17 tires and also
installed 4.88 gears. Problem is speedometer needs calibration. Guessing it is 20 -25 mph off. Have already called calibration shops in town to no avail. Called dealer said Superchips has programmer. Called Superchips they said 2005 would not work call back after 1st of year. My question is this - are their any differences between the 2005 and 2006 where as a Superchips programmer would not work to help alleviate calibration problem? Any other products? Ideas?
Engine is a 5.4.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

your best bet is to buy a programmer. By the way, no way its off that much. Maybe 5mph off at the most, but in order for it to be of 20 mph, you would have to have 50 inch tires. Go here and it will tell you exactly how much your speedometer changed from your stock tires. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
