Fuel line clogging up?
I have a 1987 STX Ranger fuel injection 2.9 liter engine. I have been having problems with my truck dying. It starts fine then after a few miles it dies anywhere to a couple mile to 20 miles. I read the trouble shooting guide in my manual and disconnected my emergency fuel switch, turn the ignition for about 10-15 seconds then release the fuel line pressure on the intake manafold and it starts up but then dies after running for awhile. Is it something in my fuel tank clogging up the fuel pump or something in the lines. A friend said it could be electrical. Any suggestion would be helpful.
