I wonder if a person could coat the dill bit and tap with grease to try to trap the metal particles and do this without taking it apart? Then just pump it full of grease.

That WoulD WorK, Just Coat The Tap With Grease, Keep Cleaning And Filling The Tap With Grease. But, It Only Takes About 5 Minutes To Remove The Driveshaft, So It Would Take You Longer To Try And Tap It Out With The Driveshaft In. In Other Words, Yeah, You Could Do It, But It Would Take You Longer..its Just Easier To Remove The Driveshaft...sorry.

Did the spline greasing. Great, the Superduty Clunks is gone.
Later I´ll add the grease fitting.
