i might be crazy

i might be crazy but...

while i was sitting at the head dreaming of what custom modifications i could do to my truck i thought of a way to make it different from any onther 73-79 truck in existance. now this is just an idea so bear with me, and in a couple of years when i loose more marbles i will it. but i think i have found a way to create a powered electirc sliding up/down rear window.

Yep, I know a guy that had a '86 crewcab with a power rear window out of a bronco. The whole thing would go down, sounds cool, but I never saw it.

i might be crazy

I remember seeing these for sale a long time ago. The one that I saw in working order was actually manufactured in my neck of the woods. It was interesting but it did take up a lot of space. It wouldn't work with my application being that I have an in-cab fuel tank.

However, about 6 years ago, I installed a side sliding Power-Slider in my 74 and I love it. Very reasonable in price as well.
