Soft Jaws

If you can lay hands on one of those magnetic signs, like you see on cars and trucks, one of those can give you a lifetime supply of soft jaws for you vises in you shop. You can cut them easily with a sharp blade to fit the jaws of your vice, and since it is magnetized it holds itself in place and you can pull them right off when they are not needed. Just stick them on the side of the vise to keep them handy. The soft plastic wont mar surfaces.
