I'm now the proud owner of a 2006 F350 PSD SRW. So far, so good. I do have one question that current owners may be able to help with however.
This truck has 18" wheels and 275/70 load range "E" tyres. I can't find an inflation pressure vs load for this size of tyre, so I wanted to know what other owners use for pressure when they are running unloaded. Right now I'm running 55 psi all around.
If anyone also knows of a pressure vs load for this size of tyre maybe they could point me in the right direction.
I run 60LBS in my tires as well. I wouldn't think you would want to run any less on a PSD. There is a LOT of weight up front! That's why it looks like your tires are low on air in the front. At least, that is what I thought when I got my new truck home!
The sticker on the door jam gives the pressure for the fully loaded condition. This gives a harsh ride when you travel unloaded, hence my quest for a load vs tire pressure table.
When I had the original tires on mine, I ran the front at 47 and the back at 42. When I did have stuff in the bed or towing, I would go up. With the PSD, you have the extra 400 lbs, so you may want to go 50 up front.
