79 F100 Paint codes

I have a paint code marking on one of my f100s its (TM) and for some reason i can't find it anywhere in my books. The truck was built in canada do they have their own paint codes?

Thank's a bunch Mil1ion got all my questions answered on your code page but one. The axle code on one of my trucks is H3J and it's not listed any idea's?

H3 was a new code for 79.
I'm still trying to find out what is reps.

The J means Power steering.

Maybe you meant H3J? The J always is on the end of the code.

Sorry, The J Isn't always there.

Again !!!! the J signifies the vehicle HAS POWER STEERING Nothing more nothing less!

I found it ! H3 means 2.75:1 ratio

Thanks again mil1ion that explains alot i think i need to change the gear i have a c5od trans upgrade thats ok for the highway but falls on its face in town and im not on the highway that much
