headlight switch

i bought a new 12 volt headlight switch from mid-fifty. is the fuse on the back a regular fuse? the mid-fifty catolog says its a ''special'' fuse. can i just get one from auto zone or are they right, and i have to order there's?

It is an old fashioned glass fuse type. Shorter than most fuses, 5 amp I think. It is for the dash lighting. Take the switch with you to autozone or napa they will be able to match it.
