Question engine size

1989 F250 136,000 miles. Just had our vehicle emission test today. (Passed) Not only did they list the mileage as being way off, they listed the engine as an 5.8L. We believe it is a 7.5L. The VIN indicates it is a 7.5L (eighth character being a G) And the belt configuration is that of a 7.5L. Can't seem to find anything on the engine indicating what it is. Is there some obvious difference between the two sizes that I can look for to determine what size it is? It doesn't mean squat to me what they think the size engine is but the mileage thing does. The have it listed as 95,000. I don't know if they think it is 95,000 or 195,000. Whichever, it is way off. Down the road they could say we rolled back the odometer if they are taking it as 95,000. I have my previous emission report that has the correct mileage so I am holding on to that. And we only drive the truck 3 months out of the year and then only put about 250 miles on it.

The throttle body on the 7.5 has the two openings oriented horizontally and open directly towards the front of the truck. The 5.8 has the twin throttle openings oriented vertically, at an angle towards the left front.
