Well as you thought, zone didn't have the GM EOS. I used assembly lube liberally during installation, covering the cam, timing chain and gear, and lifters. Also around push rod ends and a little and generally around.
I can go to a GM dealer around the corner from me so I'll see about getting some. Just use it straight? I was going to spray it in using my air compressor siphon attachmen.
Otherwise ever heard of Marvel Mystery Oil? It appears to be an assembly lube blend of sorts. While at zond I did see a gallon of 30W Rotella 30W.
