My truck is an oddball then cause I cant figure it out. Ill tell you see my original wiring harness was shot so i found a mint 1976 harness from a truck like mine also a 76 and got the whole harness under the dash and hood now here is the wiring to the wiper switch
green/blk -goes to washer motor under the hood
white/blk -goes down to neutral safety switch
(thats the plug from the harness itself to the wiper switch)
white-coming from wiper motor
black -coming from wiper motor
red -coming from wiper motor
blue-coming from wiper motor
(all goes to a plug for the wiper switch but on the same plug is that extra wire white/blk strip male plug or orange/white stripe with a male plug on other trucks)
sorry this has been so confusing.(no wires are cut, wiring harness is all intact great shape)

Reason: wire
