Unhappy vibration

I have a 99 F-150, 2WD with 100,000 miles. I noticed a vibration a couple of day ago, so I replaced both u-joints today. Now the vibration seems worse than before. The faster I go the worse it gets. I made sure the drive shaft went back in the splines the same way, but I wasn't sure how critical that was. Anybody else experience something like this? It really came on quick.

i think i would jack up the front end and check the ball joints and tie rod ends. then i would jack up the back, in neutral and rotate the drive shaft and feel/listen to the shaft and rear axle bearings.

If you could describe the vibration a little more, im sure that someone would be able to help you get a pin point on exactly what it might be.Any noise's? Tires ok and balanced?? The more info the better your chances of getting the correct response.

Talking

Found the problem. The emergency brake cables weren't releasing the rear brakes completely. Apparently the previously owner never used them. I used them at a boat ramp about 4 days ago and thats when the problem started. Thanks for the responses.
