power seats
Hi all,
I put power buckets out of a 96 in my 78. There was a 2 pronged plug coming off the seat. I made one prong a ground and the other power. I ran the power wire to the battery w/a 30A fuse. I tested the seat w/out the fuse and it worked fine. When I went to the fuse it blew it right away. I'm an electrical idiot so I sure could use some advice.

I thought power seats needed Circuit breakers not fuses.
What does the 96 have for power protection for the seats?

Seats look good. I got the 2 buckets with a fold down center console. I've got a bit more work to do on the interior but when it's done I will post some pics. If your interseted in doing this swap I could take some and Email'm to you.
