making 60' quadcab
would it be possible to make a quad cab (4 door) 1960 f-series like the orl airforce navy trucks i have one i can look at for spec but not one of my own and id like to build one has anyone outhere tried to build one on there own

I'm sure it can be done if you can handle the fabrication and body work. If you look at '57-'60 four-door crewcabs, though, look closely at the rear doors ... In order to make them fit well, the "hump" on the front (that normally sticks forward below the wrap-around windshield) is cut off. As a result, the bottom half of the door opening is smaller and I believe the step plate inside the door is cut off at the front to match.
