i live in montreal so i only need to go to the french side and it's like a whole other country. but so is ottawa. everywhere is clean, everybody signals, people ride their bikes to work

i've been to amsterdam a few times. if you like smoking pot you need to go and hang out in some of their dope cafes. other than that there's not much to do but look at famous art and crappy sex boutiques.

belgium is nice too. it was hot and we stopped to have an ice cream. at the ice cream place they take your order and bring it to you. while we were having our ice cream the local high school must have got out cuz a whole bunch of kids went to this bar across the street which was more like a video arcade where they serve beer in paper coca cola cups. after a while there's paper cups and trash all over the place and the kids started getting into fights. europe is awesome.

went to vegas when a girl i was seeing had an extra ticket (guy she was seeing before me). free margueritas and shrimp cocktails. monorail to connect all the different casinos. they have a mall that looks like a renaissance church. best buffet was the hotel paris. they have like five different buffets representing different regions and it was the only place with a real fake elvis. there's a calgary tower thing where you can go see a show. it's too hot to go outside unless you're going to the pool or getting into a cab. but if you walk down the street they have these mexican guys giving out porno magazines and you can go just about anywhere with a drink in your hand.

drove to alaska and the yukon with my dad to test the fuel economy in his new volkswagen. going down the alaska highway we kept getting passed by the same ford pickup. we spent like an hour wondering if he was making deliveries or stopping for gas. guess he noticed us too cuz like the 3rd or 4th time passing us he waved from the back window. it's absolutely the best place to go camping cuz there's hardly anyone up there and in summer you can stay up really late.

I've been pretty much everywhere there is to go on this side of the country and have driven as far as Chicago. US states I've visited are:

Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska, Utah, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Kali, Florida, Hawaii,
Alaska, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Missouri, and Louisiana. I haven't been in the NE part of the country yet.

I've made several trips to Tijuana and one trip down the Baja coast but that's about it for Mexico. 2 trips so far to Australia, one trip to southern France, 2 to the UK, 1 in Finland, dozens in Canada (particularly enjoy Victoria). Next year will be Norway and possibly Puerto Rico. I love to travel.

I'm only 18, but I've been fortunate enough to get to quite a few places:
By air:
CA, FL, Mexico, CO, Washington DC, NC
By car, from Central MA:
all over the Northeast, TN, CO, VA

Every time I travel, I am reminded more and more why I hate flying and love driving. I would be quite happy to never set foot inside an airport again.

Let's see here.... Simple list is: all of the lower 48 except Arizona and Nebraska (I have no idea how we missed Nebraska), 3 or 4 of the Canadian territories, England, Ireland, and Scotland. Long list would take too long and I honestly couldn't list all the places I've been (my parents like to travel, and I got dragged along everywhere. i usually spent the time listening to music and reading books).

Went to England, Ireland, and Scotland after graduating high school in 2000. Trips are a whole lot more fun without parents . I want to go back, but I can't manage to talk any of my friends into going.

30 days and 6000 miles in a motor home across the US - Yellowstone, badlands, Wisconsin Dells, Jackson Hole, Dakotas, Mount Rushmore, etc. Most memorable Places - Washington DC @ WWII Memorial, and the Badlands. Got to add the battlefields @Gettysburg also. We tend to hit the non tourist spots more.... (OK, don't miss Wisconsin Dells, especially Robby's Robot World).

Well, aside from already living in Australia, and touring most of it.
I have been to New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, China, India, Pakistan, Phillipines, South Africa, Namibia, Brazil, Fiji, Malaysia, Papau New Guinea, Tonga, New Caledonia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabi, U.A.E, Egypt, San Marino, Italy, France, Monaco, UK, Ireland, Greece, Czech Rep., Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Croatia, Austria, Albania, Switzerland, Liechtenstein.

In the US
Only been to L.A. (Briefly), New York (also Briefly) and Detroit...

I just love travelling, and outside of spending money on my car - that is where a lot of my finances have been directed.

Places I want to see soon.
Canada, the rest of the US, Cyprus, Nepal, Morocco, pretty much all of South America, Micronesia, Mauritius, Sweden - and I also want to go back to the Czech republic, I loved the place.

As a kid I got to go to Disneyworld a bunch of times. I don't think I've seen it since 1999 though =(. We always drove to different places. Sometimes, a trip could've been as small as 60 miles out to Lancaster, PA to just unwind. Other times, like 3 summers ago, we drove from Philly to the Outer Banks, grabbed lunch, looked at a house, and drove home. Probably a solid 30 hour trip. We drove to South Bend, Indiana to watch Notre Dame play Navy about 4 years ago.

I made it with some friends to Mardi Gras down in N.O. about 3 years ago, and that same group of friends and I just went to Chicago for St. Patty's Day. It's my turn to plan the next one I think, so maybe I'll just keep up on this thread for ideas.

I was also spoiled to 2 weeks in Italy, literally right after I got home from my last trip to Florida in 1999.

I haven't been to nearly as many places as some of you guys. One of my favorite vacation type trips was to Belize. That place is beautiful. I was to ever get rich, I would buy a lot down there in the Cayes, invest in a hammock and play my guitar.

Aside from Belize, my most memorable trip was to Colorado. My two best firends and I went to Colorado a couple of years back for a mountain biking trip. We spent a couple of days in Telluride before starting the trail. That place was beautiful. We cycled for seven days straight, crossed two mountain ranges, and finished in Moab Utah. As soon as we got in to town we hit the close Pizza parlor for Pizza and brews.
