Oil gauge jumping

the oil gauge is an idiot light, if pressure goes below 7# then it goes down.
how does it jump? just down? if all over could be a bad sender.
until you find out oil pressure with a mechanical gauge be wary of driving truck.

I would get underneath and clean the sensor tip and wiring connection. Give it a slight crimp to make sure it fits nice and tight again. If it still jumps around put a mechanical gauge on it and see what the pressure is really doing. Probabls is loose and making an intermittant connection.
