Explorer stereo problem
I am putting in a stereo in a 92 Explorer. The harness kit I got was not right. The Explorer has premium sound. Well its a long way to get another harness kit so I decided to cut the speaker harness and wire it in. I got the wiring codes from Scocshe and wired it up. --Nothing--. So I wired back up to original stereo and again---Nothing---. The wires appear to be sheilded, with a 8 speaker wires, 1 bare wire and then wrapped with a thin layer of meatl insulation? What can I do to get the stereo up and running?
