Axle Fit?

would a five lug dana 44 from a mid 70s dodge fit a 78 F250? the dodge is a passenger side drop.

well for starters, if your 78 is a 4x4, the transfer case output is on the driver side....

of course anything can be made to work

you would have to get the tcase also. the spring plates are probably different too, but i dont know for sure.

From my experience, you can make anything fit...This one doesn't sound worth it to me.

Yea it definitely doesnt seem worth it. It's just tempting cuz its in pretty good condition and a good deal. But I'm not even gonna try. Thanks for your recommendations.
