I have just installed the AFE Stage II intake and the MBRP Pro single 4" exhaust. The Predator set on 60 HP. When I floor it and hold it down the EGT hits 1200 around 70 and the truck is still accelerating. I don't know what will happen on the higher settings.
Well adding fuel does make those EGT's skyrocket...but does your Predator have the latest update on it? I've heard that the earlier versions of the software on the Predator have been having some really high EGT's.
I have the latest update and the EGT's are ok on mine.
Right now thier website is down so if you want it right away, I can send it to you.
It's better to get it from them, however.
I just bought it 2 weeks ago from Motorhaven so it should be up to date?
Go plug in the Predator. There is a way for it to display the software version. Mine said it was the latest version 7rxxd.
After I updated it, it said 7r19d. Basically the same number but something was different.
Another thing. It is impossible to get the Predator to talk to the computer unless EVERY setting on the computer com port, and Diablo Predator are exactly the same. It simply won't respond. It took me a good half hour working through that nonsense until I got it all right, then it worked.
