Getting ready to order a tune from Jody at DP-Tuner soon. It seems he needs the PCM code, and the rear end gear ratio. Planning to pull the PCM to check the code on it, but I was wondering if there was any way to know what my stock gear ratio was without crawling under the truck to look at the tag?
It's a stock 2000, Powerstroke, Auto, SRW, 4x4, XLT.
I think you can tell from the axle code on the door jam... post it and someone will tell you. Or if I can find the link to the decoding chart I'll post it.

Thanks in advance.
Robert,
Crawl up under that truck and get the numbers off the tag. No margin for error. It's on the tag thats fastened to the diff cover.
Not hard to find...Peace of mind.
Where's Wolf - he'll want to me to start a line of poetry for him...
