It does seem like you'll have to compare some part numbers.
It the axle are both Dana 50 or 60's, the parts should cross more easily.
I'm guessing that you're wanting to convert a 2wd F350 to 4wd using a front axle out of a F250 4wd, and you need to know if you can bolt up the dually hubs so you can run the offset wheels?
Are you talking about putting your 2wd hubs & brakes off the 350 on a drive axle out of a 3/4 ton truck? If so I don't think that will work.
Have you thought about a set of hub adapters? It would seem to me that the easiest way to get what you need would be to take a standard D44 or D60 front end and a set of bolt on adapters, there are several manufacturers (Arrow being one, I think), or find yourself an original dually front end.

ya that is what I'm after, I didn't think the 2wd would be the same, but if I could get away with the 3/4 ton axle then I could use the 3/4 ton wheels until I found a donor for the right hubs. But I wont waste the money on the 3/4 if I can't swap it out later, I'll just wait til I find the right axle.
