I've got a TSB (thanks to Rockledge) that says I need to reprogram the PCM on my Ranger. Do I have to go to a stealship to have this done? What is the procedure and how much does it usually cost? Has anyone had experience with this procedure?
The TSB concerns a blinking o/d light indicating a transmission problem when the temp goes below 40. After reading the TSB I thought it sounded exactly like the blinking light problem I have had these past two winters. I have an Autoxray that shows up nothing as far as codes go.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
