Idle drops when put in neutral
hey all, when i start my truck for the first time of the day, and turn the headlights and heater or AC on it does fine. but when i get driving down the road and go to push in the clutch, the idle goes down to about 400, back to 1000, back to 400 until i give it gas. it started doing this when i hooked up my stereo system with only a 300 watt amp. i had the battery and alt. both tested as good. what do you all think? thanks

My first thought would be to take the throttle body and IAC valve apart and clean them up.
But the stereo thing is a little bit weird, and needs to be eliminated as a possiblity. What did this installation involve? Messing with the original radio wiring under the dash, and hooking a wire possibly to the battery +?
