Hey all I am doing some research on some fixed for my truck and was hoping you can help me out. I have an 88 with a 4" superlift and I run 33x12.5 on 15" rims. The tires rub before full turn and I've lost some turning radius. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this. I'd like to keep the rims I have even though I don't love them but I don't want to spend the money.
if they are stock 8" wide rims then the backspacing is a little incorrect. your lift had is using the stock radius arms and drop brackets correct and thats what the tires are rubbing on.
just to let ya know i have a 6" with extended arms and they even have the offset but because i am using the stock 8" wide rims instead of 10" wide rims they rub as well.
so you either get used to it or buy some new rims with less back spacing .
I have a bone stock suspension and am running 32x11.5 on and 10x15 rim, i do have tire rub but only when making very tight turn. i can turn aroung on a residential street without hitting the curb so i didnt figure it would hurt anything to leave it alone.
