Winches on trailers

I was just curious what everyone had on their trailers for winches. Manual, electric or hydraulic. I have just gotten done with making 2 manual winches that seem to work pretty good. The first one I made is an old grain elevator winch that I modified to what is pretty much a come along that I made into a reciever plug-in. We were messing around with it at work and we blocked the wheels of two forklifts and had the brakes set and were pulling them together. The second one hasn't been finished completely but it is a big worm gear set up that I'm also gonna make into a receiver setup. It has a 25-1 gear ratio so I'm sure it'll pull down a house.
Does anyone else have an interesting manual set-up?

I have a worm gear winch like you state, from an old elevator, never gotten it installed. After running electrics for a while, it sure is nice to just stand there and push a button...

I agree, manual gets old fast, though I always bring a come-a-long in case the electric fails or I have to make a side pull.
