lug nut torque

lug nut torque

just wondering what the correct lugn nut torque is required for a 1999 F-350 single rear wheel, 4x4, aluminum wheels, v-10.
i have heard anywhere from 100 ft.lbs to 140 ft. lbs.

I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I'm sure its 140. Of course that is for steel rims. Not 100% positive on the alloys. It should have 14mm lugs. 100 ftlbs is for F150 12mm lugs.

Yes, the 14mm lugs have high torque specifications. Actually, I believe it is 150 lb. ft. Same spec for the factory aluminum wheels.
