i was just wondering how this product worked or works for you
i was planning on putting in a new filter and was contemplating which way to go, K&N, Arraid, True Flow.
i think i like the true flow the best but havent heard how they stack up from any acctual people
please list any advantages/dissadvantages you have seen with them.
if this should be in a different forum please tell me. im new here so im not sure where a question like this would get the most play
Do a search on air filters in this forum at the top where it says "Forum Tools" . Im sure you will find something on this filter and other name brands. I run a K&N so not able to help ya out here. Good luck
thanks for the advice
i tried this and didnt come up with much its hard to look through all the things that come up seeing as most are simply mentioning the brand i'll look more but hopefully some people will just post here and it might be faster.
When I changed my air filter (2003 F150 sport, v6) a month ago, I "upgraded" to the truck version of the fram available at walmart. Seemed logical for a couple dollars more.
However, my gas mileage is down from 19/20 to 15/17 mpg. Could it be the air filter, with all that extra stuff in it, on it, or whatever it is?
