New to Bronco world

I'm purchasing my 1st Bronco here in a couple of days. It's a 1986 model with a brand new 302 long block crate motor and new AOD transmission rebuild, 4" lift and 33's. Body is in good condition.

I'm looking for info on the original #'s such as hp, torque, axle gear ratios and original tire sizes. I'm trying to guesstimate what gear ratio I'll need to drop down to with the 33's on there to get back to a stock final drive ratio. Since the axles are stock and it now has 33's, it needs all the help it can get as far as get up and go is concerned. I know the 302 doesn't help either.

Being as that I come from a Dodge only family (mom/dad do it for a living), I don't know much about the pony motor. What are the possibilities in building up a 302 as far as cubic inches are concerned. I'm sure it can be stroked somehow. I know I'm probably better off building a 351w. I also have found a 390 to put in. I'm just keeping my options open.

I think the axle ratio is a 3.55. I found hp and torque in the FAQ section. I still need to know what gears to put in to change back to stock final drive ratio.

Thanks for all of your help.

the stock gears are 3.55. for 33's you will want 4.10's front/rear. that motor is fuelinjected correct. modding that 302 will be limited because of that. it would be far easier doing a 351w swap and sticking with the efi. ive done this swap and its easy. the 390 could be put in but will take some time and fab work . its also very heavy so to be honest its best for them older 70's trucks. if you can find a wrecked f150/f250/bronco with an efi 351w for a really good price you will be ready to go. but this is something to do down the road. get the gears first and see how it runs then.
