Help Me!

Hey y'all! I'm new and I have been trying desparately to find out how many gallons my gas tank holds. It isn't in my owners manual and I think I have an idea, but I would totally like to know for sure what it is so I can determine how many miles per tank I can get! If anybody can help me I would greatly appreciate it!

On the 97s, the 2dr had 19 gal tank, and the 4 dr 22 gal. Figure about 15mpg. Not sure whether you have the 6 or 8cyl, but the gas mileage isn't that much different.

Thanks you two! And I have the 4 dr. 6 cyl. My fiance and I found it very odd that it wasn't in the manual anywhere. Oh well. I appreciate y'all helping me. I hope everyone has a good day!!

Explorer, right? It seems to depend upon what year it is. My '91 and '92 have 19.3 gallon tanks. They are both 4 door 4X4.

Yep.. all 91-95 Explorers had the 19.3 gallon tank. 96-99 the capacity differed between the 2 and 4 door models.
