Thinking about getting a Borla catback. Does anyone here have a Borla exhaust system and if so what do you think about? Comments on Borla wellcomed. What is the price you paid. Price I am seeing has been around $750.00 for the duals.

Thanks
I paid about $700 for the SIDO at performaceproducts.com,
Then I paid $100 to have it installed. I Love my Borlas they sound great.
I've had my SISO Borla system for about 18 months. It sounds nice under acceleration, and in quiet at cruise speeds.
The best part is how it woke the truck up. Well worth the $$.
I just checked www.driverfx.com web site (thats where I got mine) Total price delivered to your door is $661.83 (you have to enter the work "factory" (no quotation marks) into the promotion code box to get the discount price.
Thanks Niel. Trying to cancel my order with proficientperformance, but looks like they will charge 7%. Driverfx with "factory" is $641 vs $748. Knew I should of waited for replies back from here.

You are correct...$ 641 is the discount price, but they do tack on a $20.00 shipping charge because the box is so big. So you're looking at 661 total, but thats still better than $750!
It took me all of about 30 minutes total to remove the factory exhaust and install the Borla SISO system. I just backed the rear wheels up onto my ramps and that gave me plenty of room to pull the OEM system off in one piece. It was really easy to do. I would imagine that the SIDO might take a few minutes longer, but on a scale of 1-10, I'm guessing it is a 2.
Good luck with the Borla's. I bought the catback SIDO rear exit last May and installed on my 05 screw. 140137 is the same part number as the 05 stang calls for. They sound great! I had to wait until we could get that part number, it was changed during the 04 build date, so I waited 2 months for them to be available. Worth the wait. I also paid 750.00 plus 75 for the install at local midas ( or minakee - spelling ) shop.
