Im A/C pump makes a werid noise when its on. It also doesn't sound so good when the heat it on the 'defrost'....what could it be?

How could I fix it??

Look at the front of the a/c pump, where your belt pulley is for a black dusty like powder.It could just be your ac clutch burnt up. when you have the a/c on you can do a visual at that point and notice if the clutch is spinning normally, or hanging up. If its hanging up , it will act like it wants to spin but it barely does. If this is not it, the problem then it lies in the compressor itself(the bearings in it that is). Not sure on the cost of one. Whats the noise sound like?

It is probably like Code Red said the clutch is gone, you can replace it your self very easy todo. There is other threads about it it is not very often that the pump goes out.
