Intermittent wiper problem

I have a 200 f250 Lariet. The wipers run by themselves even after they are turned off. This problem comes and goes. Two more problems that might be related or not, One at the dealer they were setting my automatic door locks and after turning the ignition only 6 times the doors locked, he said that its usually 8 not six and he thought that was strange, Two my trip computer is not working. Any help would be great.

Locks and wiper both go through the GEM. Sounds like it is acting up. I'm not sure about the trip computer though.

Try searching for GEM (Generic Electronic Module) and see what turns up.

You cannot fix 'em ...

only replace them...

It could be what Monsta said but my dad was having a problem with his wipers on his 99 F150. They would randomly turn on. Turned out to be the multi-function switch in the steering wheel/column. Just another idea.
