If it has tilt steering start by unscrewing the tilt lever from the columb. There is a flat spot on the lever to use a tool to loosen it. Then remove the screws at the bottom of the columb shroud to remove the shroud. The ignition lock cylinder can then be removed to take off the top half of the shroud. Place ignition in On position and insert a narrow tool in the hole at the bottom of the cylinder tube through the hole which the lock cylinder retainer resides. Push to release lock cylinder and set cylinder aside. You can work around removing the lock cylinder but the shrouds will be somewhat in the way. Then use a #20 Torx screw driver to remove the two retaining screws on the multifunction switch. Carefully remove the two electrical connectors from the switch and replace the switch. Installation is reverse of removal.
