Thumbs up Update on repairs done to 97 F150 4x4

Just wanted to to update all on some repairs i have done over the weeks on my truck. Thanks for all the help and support from the users and forum. Air bag light code(#52) was fixed.

I cleaned out my EGR ports and i have 1 extra EGR valve screw left over. This is the short screw that goes on the left side of the valve( Dealer could only sell me them in a pair) , I stripped both of them when i pulled of the valve. So if anyone is in need of that screw i would be more than happy the give it away.Truck ran alot better after doing the egr port repair.

Yesterday i went back to the dealer and bought the newly improved DPFE Sensor and put it on. This cured a life long problem i have had with the check engine light coming on ever since day one with buying the truck. As soon as it was on i took it for a test ride around the block and the light vansihed instantly. I gunned it, drove it hard a little trying to get the light to come back on like it has in the past, so far no light, and very pleased with the results and how easy it was to change this part. Went up to advance auto parts to have them chekc out my CEL before doing the repair and they where trying to sell me a EGR Valve. I couldnt resist , so i showed them the real cuase of the issue and the part and they said OH.lol

I had an allignment done yesterday after putting 35"s on it and cranking my torsion bars, was suprised to see only toe out was off and not buy much, Done deal there. Ive got some pictures of the truck off road in the mud and on the street taken this weekend and will be posting them when they come back. Once again thanks to everyone for the help/info. Looking foward to making it to the 200,000 mark
