Did anyone catch the Tech game. I loved it. The horns rolled right passed them like they wernt even there. I cant wait to see them in the championship game. Hook em Horns

Texas Tech was outplayed from the git-go. Besides a very weak game early on from Vince Young and facing the best offense they have seen all year, UT managed the ball well and even though they gave up 450+ yards on defense, they kept Tech away from the endzone for the most part.
They still have a lot of work left to do if they think they can bring that same game to California in January but I think they realize that and are serious about continuing to improve. They have a few games left - well one really. A&M Thanksgiving week and they can be dangerous even when we are heavily favored. Best season in many, many years so far though!
Now what about this scenario... USC and Texas meet in January - both undefeated. Now THAT would be a football game to watch!
yeah that is what I am wanting to see. It is going to be anouther contraversy this year though, because it looks like USC, UT, and VT are all going to be undefeated. So VT is probably going to not get a chance for the title.
Hook 'EM
You know, I don't think Big Mack knows how to get this team to "lighten up". You never know when a team such as OSU will bring their game like they did 1st half last year. OSU came out firing on all eight and caught UT sleeping a bit. Mack woke em up at halftime though, didn't he!
I am sorry to say, it will probably be an *** whuping on Saturday cause that is what is needed to stay in the top spot but just know that we don't enjoy watching those types of games much more than you do. OK, that was a bit of a stretch there... it'll be fun as hell for us but we'll feel bad about it in the morning? Nahh!! Let the ***-kicking commence!

lol---screw you.
No, in all honesty---we are far from running on all 8 this season---with Bobby Reid hurt (though I am unsure if he will be playing this weekend), we don't have a decent QB. I don't know, we just really don't have a whole lot going for us this season, I mean, last season we made it as far as #14 (or so)--this is just a sad, pitiful season. s
Well hey, I guess if picking on the underdogs and blowing us out of the water makes you UT fans feel more of a man---then please---commence with whatever style of beating you choose---just remember this game in 2080 or so when we have a good team and the tides turn! RIGHT... LOL
Really though, I would rather see UT and VT go to the Championship as oppose to USC. Wouldn't that be a good one?

Texas: The popular choice to beat USC
By Staff | Tuesday, October 25, 2005, 01:09 PM
An online poll by SIOncampus.com — a college campus product put out by Sports Illustrated — asked readers for their opinions on which team has the best shot of defeating Southern Cal.
Texas was the runaway choice, receiving half the votes in the poll as USC’s top nemesis.
