I took my two wheel drive 1990 Ranger with a 4.0L and automatic transmission in for an alignment a week ago. I had new tires put on it about 1000 miles ago and I could tell it was definitely out of alignment.
The results are below and bolded when they are out of range. Should I be concerned that the front cross caster is .5 degrees off? Will it cause uneven wear on my tires? I'm mostly annoyed because I took it in for an alignment and the cross caster was clearly off before the alignment and they did nothing to fix it.

yeah its weird ,i lowered my ranger 4inches in fronet and 4 in back,,,went got a wheel allignment costed 250$ ,they told me they had too put biger sleeves ,but the truck still wondered off more to the passenegr side.. went some here else got it finaly fixed like it should be ..maybe the place you took it in was just ammaturelike the place i took it in first..
When you put new tires on you say it was definitely out of alingnment, why did you think so? I haven't done alignments for more years then I care to remember, but the biggest thing cross caster will do is cause the vehicle to pull to one side or the other. Most of the time the spec will call for numbers to cause the vehicle to pull Towards (but not enought that you will ever notice it) the center of the road to correct for crowning that is built into the road for drainage. My experence is that it takes about .75 to 1 deg before you will notice it. If the truck is not pulling to one side I would not worry about it. I don't think it will hurt the tires, but keep an eye on them. Run your hand across the tire tread side to side and you will feel the wear pattern, and you know if its not even.
