And I'm not looking for a race truck just a truck to beat the stangs, and ricers around town. and maybe a vette or 2..lol...but more importantly something i will have fun in and something that will last!
i destroyed a 01 vette .. the kid must have **** his pants. we both ended up at the next light side by side but he was in the turn lane and he was like holy **** that thing is a beast, and he gave me the thumbs up
I have saved around $500 dolars to put performance mods on my 2006 f350 6.0l CC lariat FX4. What would be the best things to go with as far a performance and saftey. this is my daily driver yet i want to be able to take it to the track and punish people with it...what to do??
get a surgeon and have him pull your head out of your ****.
a 50k truck on 15 bux an hour?
might sound like an ***, and sorry for that..however, you cannot afford a truck like that on that little wage. hell, even if you are freeloading off your parents, the payment, insurance, and fuel costs would leave if you wearing sox and uderwear only.
how about this, move out of your parents house, and sell that truck, you cannot afford it if your carrying your own weight.
once you get that kickass job (and who discusses salary with an intern?) go crazy...............but, BUY A HOUSE FIRST.
Jeez... Give the kid a break. He just ask a question.
Some of the people on this thread told him to "Save his money" and "Invest it". If I am mistaken, he doesn't want financial advice. He wants to know what he can put on his truck for $5K. I don't think that we need to get into his life story, or financial situation... Or even age, for that matter. This is suppose to be a fun place to post, not school.
Super, I had about the same amount of money left over when I bought my PSD. I spent many a night looking through magazines and browsing forums like this one. What I came up with is this:
1. A tuner (SCT is good. I went with Banks)
2. An exhaust (I went with the 4" Turbo back -BullyDog)
3. Intake (I went with the AFE Stage 2 with Proguard 7)
4. Gauges (I'll use the PDA supplied with the Banks 6-gun)
That should put you up around $3500 or so with labor. Hey, you could use the rest to replace the suck-*** stereo that Ford installed!
Mattsf250...the money isnt from a job its from a scholarship so i dont ahve to worry about payments or w/e its going to be paid in full...and i ahve a job to pay for the insurance and fuel...
and PSD 60l fx4 i dont like chevy...i was sticking up for the guy in the other post!
but im done arguing about that because it isnt important....

You cannot sign back up after you have been banned...
Note for Moderators- this is the user who was just removed (SuperLB51)
Since my last post.. I have read some of SuperLB51's comments on other threads. To say the least it is disappointing. For someone that has a bright future in front of them (so he says), the professionalism is lacking.
I have noticed this person was banned. Apparently, WOW6.0L, you have changed your screen-name and think you can post hear again. If I were you, I would hang tight for a few weeks until your suspension is up. (If you weren't banned indefinitely). Take a breather and come back with an open mind. Coming in the back door with a new name will get you no respect here. I stuck up for you once. And I will stick up for anyone on this board that has been wronged. Because I was that age once, and I had nice things that people were jealous of. But, do not take this humanistic trait as ignorance. Be a man and do what is right. Let things cool down for a while and start a clean slate later.
