I guess LS is a crude form of traction control. But a real traction control system will detect wheel speen then use the ABS and engine controls (to reduce torque output) to keep the wheels from spinning.
Hey Jdew, If you like music I would get the Audiophile System and if you do not like being stuck I would get the Limited Slip Rear Axle. Oh, you may also want to consider the Chrome Package. Good Luck!
I plan on getting an XLT, 3.73 LS Diff, Tow package, power rear window (got one on my Sport Trac now and really like it), power drivers seat & adjustable pedals (for wife), reverse sensing system.
Still undecided on deluxe mirror package (I hear the heated mirror is pretty convenient in the winter), overhead storage system (for extra spots to stash stuff) and whether to go with the aluminum or chrome wheels. Normally I would go with aluminum but I'm thinking of getting the Dk Toreador Red with Ariz. Beige two tone and I think the chrome might look better with them since that since the aluminum ones actually have metallic gray accent paint on them. But I may go with the Drk Smoke w/ Arz beige and then I'd get the Aluminum wheels. Definately need a step bar, not sure to get either the 4" polished stainless steel or 5" chrome - again the chrome looks nice but it's $500 - I could probably get a comparable one aftermarket for <$.
I'll probably just go with the std stereo maybe the 6-disc changer - can't see spending that much on a stereo to get the Audiophile - plus I'm not sure that's an option on the XLT anyways. I kind of like the look of the chrome package but to be honest I don't want 18" wheels and I definately don't want to spend $1200 on them.
I will take delivery of my 06 SCREW with a 6.5' bed next week. Local dealer said they sold two last week but had no more. They searched the Ford locator and found one in another city. They picked it up and will sell it to me. They are out there, you just have to have a dealer that will look for them. Couldn't find one with a 3.73 rear end tho. Had to settle for a 3.55.

I ordered mine on Nov. 14th (I think) and it was built Dec. 12. I picked it up at the dealer on Jan 2, but it was sitting on the dealers lot the week before christmas.
