Can anyone ID what application this carb fits? I usually post on the 61-66 forum, but I'm cleaning out irrelevant parts, and this is one of them.
Motorcraft cast into the upper part (air horn)
2V, with electric choke
On the tag are:
D9TE
AMB
C8J23
I know it is for a '79 Truck, but what engine? It won't fit any of my FE intakes correctly. The mounting bolts will match up, but there is an air leak because the carb base overhangs the manifold a bit.
