I would say drop tank-I'm not sure sender will clear crossmember even w/bed off.Siphon fuel from tank beforehand & its not that heavy.Front tank sender can be changed from underneath w/out disassembly.Brian
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-May-02 AT 10:34 PM (EST)]drop the spare tank is a lot easier! it's just 4 bolts and 2 brackets and a filelr hosue and a sensor and whatnot if im correct. i removed a gas tank 2 years ago. putting it back in was hard!

I was worried about replacing it.
I figured it would be harder.

i just got done replacing all the rubber on my tanks. 25 years tends to make rubber go bad. its not that hard. the only thing that way hard for me was getting the tank around my tow hitch that is welded to the frame. but it wasnt that big of a deal. just drop the tank and the spare.
Yeah,
I got one of those welded hitch thingies too!
I figure I've got less than 2 gallons in the tank.
It's coming off this weekend.
Thanks for the help guys.
