86' shop manual

I have been searching high and low for a good shop manual. Not a Haynes or Chiltons. I need something more detailed, as I do much better with lots of pictures! I've looked on ebay, run searches for "1986 f150 shop manual." I see plenty of books out there on other trucks..what's the deal? Any suggestions as to where I can find this? CD or paper back, doesn't matter. Thanks guys.

try online catalogs

JC Whitney and LMC both have shop manuals for Ford Trucks. They are not cheap, around $150 bones, but they are what the mechanics supposedly use.

Nope. It's www.helminc.com

I went there and they have some wiring diagrams, but they are out of stock on the manual.

The Ford manuals come up on ebay once in a blue moon. I got the three-volume set on my 83 after being very patient. One word of caution...theyre VERY thorough, it's almost a burden to read up on stuff.
