You know it is bad when Grand Rapids (the biggest town in West Mich) has diesel for $3.49, Plainwell (small town) has it for $3.49, and Allegan (even smaller town) has it for $3.49. Usually Grand rapids is $0.15 to $0.20 higher than Plainwell and Allegan is $0.10 higher than Plainwell.

It is just crazy when they are all the same. Makes me think someone is up to no good.

Southeast Wisconsin, I paid $3.19 (best I could find) with an average being $3.39- $3.59.

Regular gas is $2.55

Less than a week ago, everybody was at anywhere from $3.09 to $3.29

Smells like a ripoff to me.

Delaware prices are low for a change, $2.79 for diesel, and $2.49 regular gas. I would hope the prices would stay at this level but I doubt that it will.

well it was 3.35 for diesel, and 2.61 for PREMIUM in Iowa yesterday. they are using the HHO as an excuse but I heard from someone that something like 80% of the HHO that will be used this winter has already been refined, and something like 45% of it is already in the customers tanks. Basically all of the HHO that will be used this winter through the end of March is already refined, and atleast already at the tank farms or in the peoples tanks that will burn it so the excuse was what again? (BTW those figures are based on it bieng a severly colder than normal winter, and all predictions are for it to be warmer than normal)

Well, had to fill 'er up again today. $104.67 for 30 gallons at $3.489. The only good news is that I averaged 18.7 mpg on this tank. So in the past week and a half I have spent $297.32. Am I allowed to cry yet?

Ultra-low sulfur fuel coming, and Bin 5 emissions requirements. Seems like diesel will stay high and maybe go higher.

Cool

How come all the big rig drivers aren't going postal????? Fuel surcharges can only cover so much. By the way, who pays for the surcharge? Oh yeah, I guess that would be you and me. The way I see it, diesel owners are getting nailed twice. A friend of mine works for ConocoPhillips and can't give me a good answer to this nightmare.

I hear rumblings that something may be in the works for the truckers unless the diesel price drops significantly, and soon...

The amazing (or pitiful) thing about diesel is that it takes less to refine than regular gasoline. Any other country in the world diesel is about 50% less than regular gas. Somebody's making a killing off us.
