Ok I know this is probably a dumb as hell question, but my truck drains water as fast as I can fill it up...I think its a freeze-plug, but I have never dealt with a water problem that wasnt fixed with a hose or water pump replacement, so basically I have no clue what the deal is, can any of yall help me out??
It looks like it is pouring out of the side of the engine and running down but i cant see exatly where because the exhaust and **** is in the way, or it could actually be running out of the block(I really hope not)
yes it can leak out of the block if its cracked, or it could be leaking from the head gasket.
You need to look really good. mirrors and lights help. If you've got a laptop and a webcam you can use the cam to look at it too. I've used my digi-cam to take pics from angles that I would never be able to do myself in tracing an oil leak.
Have a friend pour the water in and try looking from any possible angle that you can...
The mirror and light would work good..Try to use one of those mirrors on the retractable wands ...You can get those into some pretty tight places...
I was thinking about just pulling the motor so I would have the space incase it was back near the rear because I aint exactly got the hands to fit down and in there
