soon as i get my lake pipes and runningboards on i will post new pics in my gallery. its painted and i am running the wiring now. most of you will not agree with my choice of color but let me explain before you see the pics. i did so many body mods and being the first time. i painted it flat black. hopefully after driving for a year or so nothing will crack or fall off. then i will seal and paint with shiney paint. to be truthful though i like the black, will see. ought to be a week or so hope ya guys like it.
Go for the flat black, started painting mine shiney purple found out that perhaps I need a little more skill when it comes to finish work. So I am headed out to the shop now and it will be DP90 semi flat black this evening
i used john deere blitz black and i love it. 21 bucks a gallon. looks great almost a semi gloss look. yeah i glad i went this route. i spent alot of time wet sanding but there are still some flaws that need to be fixed. glad i didnt find this out on expensive paint.
hey thanks for the reply. i do like the look of flat black on it. everythings painted except the runningboards i am waiting on and the flames on the front end, they will be a base clear silver with red outline, my idit column is also a bright red. nice combo....thanks again i'll post pics soon
