Resoration almost done!!!

I got the drive train worked out.

Now i'm getting ready to start on the body this weekend,

Getting a new bed, 2 new fenders....and a tailgate.

Gonna repaint the whole truck.

What Reds were available on the 85' Fseries trucks???
what was the best lookin???

My truck is red and white. The red is called "Light Canyon Red". I think you can also get a "Dark Canyon Red". Either one is a really good looking red IMO.

Really??? sweet my truck is light canyon red, but it is oxidized. It shines but it doesn't have the depth.

Mabey i'll just repaint it the original color

If it is just oxidized, you can probably just scratch it with some 1000 grit then clear coat over it. It beats having to buy all that extra paint. I just did mine and the good stuff will cost you a few hundred bucks. If I wasn't rust proofing the whole rig, I would have just scratched it and clear coated it.
