cabin Air Filter
Help Anyone know how to change one? I bought a new one (Fram) Took off cover under right side of dash. Instructions say to pull down on tab. There is no tab on mine , cant see how to get filter out?

You probably don't have the cabin air filter, although if you have a narrow cover held on with (as I recall) six screws, you just don't have a filter in it. Don't know about the new trucks, but for the '97 - '03 models, this was an extremely rare option. There was a Ford dealer accessory kit available at one time, but it was discontinued somewhere around 2001.
I bought one of the last F150 kits available about 3 years ago. However many Expys and Navigators have similar ducts, so kits or used parts might be available for them. Also, if you do a search on this forum, you will see how to put a cabin air filter in your truck without the kit. Apparently this works quite well.
