Hi everybody, I haven't posted in awhile, because my posts were usually negative due to all the issues I had with my 6.0 and to tell the truth I got tired of complaining. With that said I got a call from FMC informing me that they are extending my bumper to bumper warranty to 100,000 miles , because of all the inconvinience that the truck caused me and my business. This is great news because It just turned 36,000.
At this time I want to thank everybody on this site that helped me in the past.
This is the best Ford truck site on the web.
Thank you FTE
Alfredo Santos

How about sending some of that help this way. MY truck has been in the shop since May 25. Still under warranty and they won`t fix it because of legal issues.

It took a long time, but I established a good relationship with the service manager @ the dealership, everytime I took it in for warranty work I made sure that I dealt with the service manager, ( the service writers won't do you any good in this case) armed with all the info that I learned from FTE I was able to get them to admit to all the problems that they encounter with the 6.0.
My truck was checked out at least 5 times for each issue ie; wireing harness, puking coolant, loss of power, running rough or rough idle, stalling, the last work they did was head gasket replacement. Most of the time they could'nt duplicate the problem, but I feel that was my fault as well, because I would put the truck back to stock and I think that would clear all the codes. So I stopped running the Predator all together, and when it acted up I would bring it in and bingo, codes.
I have not ran the Predator for about 8,000 miles, I really miss it , but I haven't had any issues. In the past I was of the opinion that the Predator wasn't the culprit but now I won't chance it, it's just not worth my truck being down. Anyway that is just my opinion, and I haven't anything to back that up. After all of that the service manager was replaced by the gestapo, and I had to start kissing you know what all over again. That's when I called FMC and demanded that they replace my truck, and I was told that would never happen in my case, but three weeks later, which is today, I got the call informing me about the ESP.
That's the best I can do to explain.
