highboy

i was wondering what the factory lift for the highboy actually is is it just bigger springs in the front or is there bigg hangers ???? any help would be appreciated

There is no lift, it is just the way all F250 4x4s from 67-77 1/2 were built.

It came from the factory with bigger springs up front and blocks in the rear.

They have a extra springs in the rear and a cross bar for the front leaf perches up front.

there is nothing special about a highboy, people just call all 67-77.5 f-250 4x4's that because they sit high. they all have slightly arched 3 inch wide front leaves. 6 or 9 2 1/4 wide leaves in the rear with a 4 inch lift block. easy...

The frame is narrower and the front half of the front leaf springs are mounted directly under the frame (thats what that cross bar is for) there are a few other things to a highboy, like a Div. Tcase, Hydro Asst Steering, and from what ive seen most have closed knuckle front axles ...

Its equal to about a 4" lift.. Ive got 35s on mine, have had 36"s on it in the past w/o rubbing.
