Custom Bed Advice......
I have a 77' Ford F250 with the 3 piece bed. My bed floor is all dented up, but no rust. It is going in for paint soon, and i was going to have the shop finish everything up to the seams of the bed floor, and fixing the bed so its at least straight. Then i was going to put a a piece of stainless over the bed floor, and drill some holes underneath the truck and tack it that way, and then run 2 beads all the way down the seams. Now, once i have a nice flat surface to run on, i was going to lay a wood bed down, just up to the seams. I woudl use aluminum, but i have no way of welding it to steel. Anyway, the whole point is to keep my bed floor because it's not rusted at all, just a little dented, and then making a nice flat surface to lay a wood flow down on. Let me know some suggestions of the easiest way of doing so. Thanks alot for the help.
